Through comprehensive evidence based instructional programs, conducted by state licensed and nationally certified speech language pathologists, The Speech Caboose, PC has the privilege of serving children and adults with a broad spectrum of communication disorders/delays.
The Speech Caboose, PC provides speech and language diagnostic and comprehensive evaluations and treatment that embrace the unique speech and language needs of individuals to maximize communication and improve their quality of life.
Our mission is to provide therapeutic services to clients with various types of disorders, in order to assist them in reaching their maximum level of functioning in their natural environment.
We believe in a world where every person that experiences difficulty with communicating, understanding, or feeding/swallowing is on a step towards a positive track with our dedication to serve each person individual needs!

Candice Williams, MEd. CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist, Founder
Candice Williams, MEd. CCC-SLP founded The Speech Caboose in June 2008. She was born in Thibodeaux, Louisiana and grew up in Gray, Louisiana. She attended Southern University from the summer of 1994 until the fall of 2000. Candice graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor Degree of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology and her Masters of Education in Communications Disorders at Southern University A & M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After graduation, Candice moved to Houston in 2001 where she has garnered more than 16 years of experience working in the following settings: clinic, public school and home health. Candice has experience working with ages from 1 month to 21 years old. Her therapeutic philosophy is individually evidence-based practice to assist children to reach their fullest potential. Candice is affiliated with the following professional organizations: American Speech Language Hearing Association and the Texas Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Carol S. Broussard, MEd. SLP Assistant

Carol S. Broussard is currently working in the private sector as a Speech & Language Pathologist Assistanct at The Speech Caboose of Houston, Texas. Carol began practicing in the private sector as a SLPA in 2012. She received her B.S. in Business Education in 1985 and Masters of Education in Communication Disorders in 07/2000 from Southern University A & M College. Carol began practicing as a SLPA in 09/2000 in Goose Creek CISD of Baytown, Texas.
Nikki Edwards, BS, SLP Assistant
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
Nikki Edwards joined The Speech Caboose in July 2013. She was born and raised in Ville Platte, Louisiana. She attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she received a Bachelor Degree of Science in Child and Family Studies. After graduation, Nikki moved to Houston in 2002 where she worked for Early Childhood Education for 8 years. In 2011 she received a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders. Nikki has extensive experience working with ages from 1 month to 21 years old.

Naomi Fernandez is currently working in the private sector as a Speech & Language Pathologist Assistant at The Speech Caboose. She received her B.S. Communication Disorders in 05/2002 from the University of Houston. Naomi has been a SLP Assistant for more than 10 years.
